The Caboose is Kelty’s all-in-one vehicle mounted shelter option that provides a huge awning / vestibule for weather protection combined with a full-sized, free-standing tent with room for 4 sleepers. Side walls can roll up for sunshine or to provide entry, multiple Velcro attachment points for partial coverage, roof attachment to nearly all vehicles without adaptors or hassle – more time to party.
FREE STANDING
No need to take this thing down when you move the car – the Caboose is fully free-standing and can be used as a traditional 4P camping shelter (with an enormous vestibule to boot), sturdy fiberglass 3-pole frame. No need to crouch when you’re heading to bed (or the exit when nature calls) – massive single D-door side entry, 78 inches peak height, full coverage rainfly for rain, wind, and privacy from campsite peepers.
